mentioned it in the Columbus thread, but Carrera has been playing RF in c-bus recently. Power-wise he'd be a horrible RFer, but plays defense well and not sure he'd be worse than what we're running out there now.

I don't get why LaPorta needs a day off against a lefty with three off days in a row starting tomorrow.. I just don't get it.. Sure, Marson catches car-car.. Give Santana the time off.. or give Hafner the day off.. but don't take the only viable right handed power source out of the lineup....

Vinnie was nasty today.. just mowed em down.. apparently someone lit a fire under that gumbaugh...

This was a game that was all over except for the innings being mailed in.. and with verlander on the hill for the Tigers, first place at the ASB is surrendered.. Well... here's to a better start to the second half....

Santana got a day off on Friday, so makes sense to give LaPorta an extra day off there, especially against a lefty. Santana hits lefties better than LaPorta.
