Second Thoughts: Where the rotation stands
It’s the All-Star break in 2013 and once again, the Indians find themselves within striking distance of the division lead. There have been many keys that have led to their strong showing in the first half. However, one element that deserved a good deal of the credit is the starting pitching staff, one that originally had a lot of ‘maybes’ and ‘what-ifs’. Part one of that list is after the jump, as well as the two Jims' e-mail chain as they justified their rankings to each other.

2013 Key Players: Midseason review

Those five players were Justin Masterson, Ubaldo Jimenez, Jason Kipnis, Carlos Santana, and Lonnie Chisenhall, and with the season now just past the halfway point, he reviews how each player is doing.
