Fantastic performance by Ubaldo building off of his last start where he got in a groove and retired 14 straight with all his pitches working. Only last night he avoided the rocky first inning and stretched the good part out to seven innings.
If Ubaldo and Kazmir can consistently pitch like they have in their last two starts, this team could hang around for a long time, especially in a weak division like the AL Central is shaping up to be.
Nice to see the Tribe go an entire game without making an error, too.
How about Raburn hitting a 98 mph fastball over the fence for his second HR of the game? And how about Kipnis putting one over the center field wall? Brantley and ACab are starting to hit, so if we can get Chiz to join the party this team could take off.
Not too thrilled about having to face Halladay and Lee the next two games, though. Wednesday's game will be interesting with the Lee/Bauer matchup. Indians past versus Indians future.
Aaron Laffey is now a FA and should be on the Tribes radar. At least to add some depth to this rotation. I'd prefer to see him on the mound than some internal options.
