After a shutdown seventh inning with 9 runs manager Phil Clark was very confident in his teams hitting and impressed with the adjustments they have been making and how it's been showing especially during this game. "Guys have just made adjustments I thinks it's just that time of the year where they are getting acclimated to pro-ball especially our college guys. And the guys that have been with us for a while I think they are just feeling their swing and what they can and they can't do".

Bases loaded and two fumbles on the field cost the Scrappers two runs so far in the top of the eighth. Making a great double play was short stop Yonathan Mendoza who tossed his fielded ball to second base covered by Drake Roberts who threw to first base getting both outs.

The Scrappers held their defense though and walked away with a 14-3 win.

The Scrappers will be playing July 21, 2014 at the Eastwood field in Niles, Ohio.
