Pavano Traded, Perez Recalled

oday the Indians traded right-handed pitcher Carl Pavano to Minnesota in exchange for a player to be named later. The Indians will receive this player on or before September 1st. Left-hander Rafael Perez was recalled from Columbus to take Pavano’s spot on the 25-man roster. Right-hander Justin Masterson is expected to fill the vacant rotation spot
