AZL Indians walk-off to a big 11th inning win
Calhoun, GA native and this year’s 7th round pick Joshua McAdams really made his mother’s drive from Georgia to Arizona a worthwhile one yesterday night. The AZL Indians would win courtesy a walk off knock from McAdams in the 11th inning after a three run comeback to tie it in the 9th inning.
It would surely be worth the price of admission, if only there was a price to get into the Arizona Rookie League contests. The Indians showed some moxy and heart last night with a fantastic comeback win against their fellow Goodyear mates, the AZL Reds. Indians 2012 third round pick Kieran Lovegrove made his pro debut and started the game, going 2 IP, giving up 3 ER on 5H and a walk. Lovegrove offered a fastball sitting between 89-91, and topped out at 92 MPH.
