AZL Indians Insider: 2012 season review
The talent the Indians assembled this season at rookie level Arizona was very exciting thanks to all the talent that was injected to the roster from this year’s draft, a very good Latin crop, and some holdover’s from last year’s draft. It was easily the most talented rookie level team the Indians have fielded since I have been covering the Indians’ system the past ten years, and several industry people told me it was probably their best in at least two decades.
That is great news for an organization starved for talent and impact players at the Major League level. While these players are all at least a good three or four years away from playing in the big leagues, it is good to know that there is some hope on the horizon after a very poor showing not only at the Major League level this year, but a lack of major options at the Triple-A and Double-A level as well.
