| Robinson Tejeda |
Here is the rundown of what Indians players in winter ball did yesterday.
Dominican Republic Winter League
- Robinson Tejeda (RP, Tigres del Licey): 2.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R/ER, 0 BB, 2 K. Tejeda was the tough luck loser as the one run he allowed in the 5th inning put his Licey team down 2-1 and they eventually lost 3-1. He has now made a total of 8 appearances this offseason and in 16.1 innings has allowed 14 runs (12 earned) on 13 hits, 13 walks, and has 15 strikeouts. The high amount of walks and ineffectiveness are a carry over from a poor 2011 where he posted a 6.14 ERA in 9 appearances with the Royals and battled right shoulder inflammation for most of the year.
