Before the Akron Aeros' thrilling 14 inning victory Thursday night, Jim Piascik talked with their surprising starter Steven Wright about his success this year. Wright touched on the legendary knuckleballers - Charlie Hough and Tom Candiotti - who have helped him develop the pitch and what mindset he has going forward in his career.

The Akron Aeros broke through with a game-winning RBI-single by catcher Roberto Perez in the bottom of the 14th, as Akron beat the Bowie Baysox 3-2. With the win, Akron finished the homestand with a sweep of the Baysox (22-31). In the bottom of the 14th, Perez singled home right fielder Ben Copeland for the winning run.

T.J McFarland made his Triple-A debut on Thursday afternoon and put forth a very good effort, and Jesus Aguilar continues to play wall ball in Carolina. Tony steps in for ATF duties and talks about the performances by both of them yesterday and so far this season, and also touches on another two dozen players.
