EASTLAKE, OH- The Lake County Captains (20-39) blew a four run lead in the ninth inning en route to a 7-6 loss in ten innings on Saturday night in front of 6,466 people at Classic Park. Lake County has dropped five straight games.
The Carolina Mudcats gave up a two-run lead in the seventh inning and allowed four runs in the top of the tenth to lose to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 8-4, at Five County Stadium Saturday. This was Carolina’s seventh consecutive loss to the Pelicans and the second in a three-game series.
