Both ballgames, while different, were centered on the same recipe for success with more dominant starting pitching. Join IBI Indians beat reporter Jim Berdysz as he recaps a good day for the Wahoos at the ballpark.

Second Thoughts Game #143: Twins 4, Indians 3
Trevor Bauer was dominant on Tuesday night going eight strong innings, but a misstep to four consecutive batters in the fourth was the difference in the game. In the end the Indians were unable to once again put together any offense and they lost 4-3. The IBI's Michael Rich steps in and provides his second thoughts on a disappointing loss for the Indians...

Huge four-run fourth inning sends Twins over Indians, 4-3
They say baseball is a game of inches. Give Michael Brantley an extra inch on a sliding defensive play, and Trevor Bauer may have had himself a shutout Tuesday. Instead, the farther into September it gets, the farther it seems the Indians are fading out of contention. Opening up a three-game series with the last place Minnesota Twins, Cleveland was handed a tough 4-3 loss Tuesday night, thanks to a game changing fourth inning.

Second Thoughts Game #142: Angels 12, Indians 3
For four innings it looked like the Indians were in store for yet another nail-biter. Danny Salazar was cruising, and the Indians offense wasn’t generating much against Jered Weaver. Then it all unraveled. Salazar was hit hard in the fifth inning, giving up two home runs and six runs before being replaced by Zach McAllister – an offensive explosion from the Angels that essentially put this game out of reach. The IBI's Michael Goodman provides his second thoughts on the game...

Second Thoughts Game #141: White Sox 0, Indians 2
Carlos Carrasco followed up Corey Kluber's complete game victory on Saturday with nearly one of his own as he came one out shy of a shutout on Sunday while allowing only four hits and striking out eight. Scott Carroll, once again, handcuffed Cleveland's bats. However, the two runs they did manage to push across were enough. Join the IBI's Jake Dungan as he recaps the win.
