Carrasco struggles as Tribe falls to Oakland, 13-3
It was a tale of the good, the bad and the ugly Wednesday afternoon at Goodyear Ballpark. Things looked good early on for the Tribe, as Indians hitters jumped to a three run lead through the first four innings against Oakland. Despite a fast start, that would be all the scoring for the Wahoo's in this one, as the Athletics outscored the Tribe 13-0 over the final five frames to pickup an easy 13-3 win. After yielding five earned runs in the ballgame, could Carlos Carrasco now be on the outside looking in for the final spot in the Cleveland rotation? IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz shares his thoughts and recaps the action.

Indians bats rally late, trounce Mariners, 8-5
It wasn't a good start for Indians minor league right-hander Travis Banwart, but that wouldn't stop Tribe bats and bullpen from going quietly. Trailing 5-1 after six innings of play, Cleveland relievers helped the offense outscore Seattle 7-0 over the final three frames to trounce the Mariners, 8-5 for their sixth straight victory this spring.

Trend Spotting: Ryan Raburn, regression candidate
The Indians bench last year was constructed much differently than many of the past. It was a strength of the team with Ryan Raburn at the forefront of the Goon Squad as perhaps a goon’s goon of sorts. The IBIs Michael Hattery takes a deep look into the production of Raburn last year and provides data and analysis the suggests he is a regression candidate. But why and how much?
