Tribe-via I: The Questions
The game of baseball is a series of nines. There are nine innings to a game and nine players are on the field for each team. So it's appropriate that the first Tribe-via test is nine questions plus one non-Tribe related question (kind of like the designated hitter). How many can you get right?

Bourn and late signings at the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario
The Cleveland Indians have been fairly silent since the start of 2014. As the Tribe buses head from Cleveland to Goodyear, Arizona for next week's report dates, Jim Pete ponders last year's last-minute Michael Bourn signing, how it was likely their big move for 2014, and discusses the possibility of another Indians splash in February, Spring Training or July's trade deadline.

Tribe Happenings: Weighing the risks of resigning Jimenez
The Ubaldo Jimenez saga is one that many Indians fans have followed with great interest this offseason. The door appeared to be closed on his potential return to the Indians when he declined a qualifying offer back in October, but his market has crashed enough where the Indians may be back in play for him. Or are they? The IBI's Tony Lastoria looks at whether Jimenez and the Indians could be a fit on a one year deal and looks at his contract issues of the past that led to the Rockies trading him and wonders if it is a red flag when considering signing him to a below market multi-year deal.

The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks are playing each other in today's Super Bowl. While staying in that same frame of mind, today's power poll is going to stick to World Champions. Believe it or not, the Cleveland Indians have two World Championships, both in 1920 and 1948. Instead of worrying about the best team, which of these two championship teams is your favorite?

Trend Spotting: On Larry Doby, Jim Thome and a statue travesty
Last weekend at Tribe Fest the Indians unveiled their plans for a Jim Thome statue to be placed in this ballpark and a ceremony for the unveiling on August 2nd. While Thome is one of the organization's greatest players of all time and he is a former fan favorite, this announcement is puzzling to many considering his departure from the team in 2002 and so many other former great Indians who were not given the honor. The IBI's Michael Hattery holds nothing back in his criticism of the decision.

Starting from the Top: Bourn, Swisher and Kipnis
Last year, they started from the bottom. This year, we're starting from the top—at the top of the Indians lineup that is. For 56 games last year, Michael Bourn, Nick Swisher and Jason Kipnis hit one, two and three in the Tribe order respectively. They were far from the most potent bunch in baseball, but they have given Cleveland a new look and a new identity offensively. IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz takes a closer look at the offensive trio.

Will the Indians sign Ubaldo and deal Masterson? Will the Indians sign Masterson and forget Ubaldo? Will the Indians sign Ubaldo and Masterson? Weave through the highs and lows at this week's Corner of Carnegie and Ontario.
