With the Arizona Fall League off on Sunday, the other winter leagues got prime attention. The Indians actually had several players in action in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, led by a big bomb from Jesus Aguilar, another good relief outing from Bryan Price, and Ezequiel Carrera setting the table.

The Arizona Fall League was off on Saturday but the Venezuela Winter League was in action and only one Indians player was in action. Jesus Aguilar put together yet another stellar night for the Indians reaching base in four of his five plate appearances and is really off to a great start this offseason.

The Cleveland Indians season may be over, but the happenings in the minors continue on as usual as Fall Instructional League action continues for another two weeks. On Wednesday the young Indians were in action in Goodyear and beat the Rangers 10-4. The young Indians fell to the Reds on Saturday 7-6 in Instructional League action. With three weeks left in Instructs players continue to get some additional work in as Elvis Araujo just dominated in his outing and several others continue to shine. The young Indians were back in action on Wednesday afternoon and ventured over to Surprise to take on the Rangers young prospects in another Fall Instructional League game. The Indians came out on top 6-5 and had several noteworthy performances, of note from outfielder Josh McAdams. It may be the end of the season, but some history was made on Sunday as three pitchers for short-season Single-A Mahoning Valley combined for the second no-hitter in franchise history. Luis Gomez, Carlos Melo and Kerry Doane pitched their way into the history books with nine hitless-scoreless innings and racked up 12 strikeouts in the process.
