Lake County dominated tonight's ATF with some pretty incredible performances over their 13-inning marathon. Jordan Smith took his frustrations out on not being picked for the All-Star team with another outstanding night. Carlos Santana brought his "smooth" swing to Low A for a one-night-only performance. Kyle Bellows' bat has woken up in Akron, while Felix Sterling's arm has gone to sleep. The top slot in the ATF is a 'welcome back' not to a resurgent starter in Akron, who revitalized his career with the most difficult pitch to master. Sunday was a forgettable afternoon for the Captains, who dropped the second game of a four-game series to the Lansing Lugnuts 10-1. It was a rough day for every pitcher who took the mound for Lake County, starting with Shawn Morimando (1-1, 4.50).
