In the 36th round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select second baseman Mike Giuffre from Brookdale CC (NJ).

Born: 12/14/1990 - Height: 5'10" - Weight: 175 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right

Jeff Ellis: I have to assume he is the same player who was drafted by the Mets in 2008 in the 28th round. He must have red shirted or gotten hurt. He is another sub six foot hitter for the Tribe. He put up good numbers for Brookdale, but I have to assume this is strictly a senior sign who is going to be used as a backup/ organizational player. He is a minor league utility guy based on where he was drafted and overall tools.
