History: Sterling, 19, is a right-handed pitcher the Indians signed as a free agent out of the Dominican Republic in November of 2009. He pitched really well in 8 of his 9 starts for Low-A Lake County last year, with the one bad outing being a 4.0 inning 7 earned run effort in mid-August. Without that one game, he was 2-2 with a 2.89 ERA in his other 8 starts at Lake County.
