Captains drop second straight to Great Lakes 7-1
The Captains fell to the Loons for the second night in a row, 7-1. The Captains dropped Saturday night's game to The Loons as well, falling 8-3.

Loons overpower Captains 8-3
EASTLAKE, OH- The Great Lakes Loons (25-16, 52-59) scored five runs in the final two innings to win the series finale 8-3 over the Lake County Captains (19-22, 42-66) on Saturday night. In the last two games, the Captains bullpen has allowed nine runs in the final three innings of the game.

Captains fall late in back-and-forth battle with Fort Wayne
The Fort Wayne Tincaps scored four runs in the final three innings to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 7-5 victory over the Lake County Captains on Friday night in front of 3,693 fans at Classic Park. Fort Wayne won the season series 10-8.

Rehabbing Tomlin helps lead Captains to 3-2 win
Cleveland Indians' pitcher Josh Tomlin seemed to have ignited a spark of luck as he made a rehab appearance for the Lake County Captains, assisting the team to a 3-2 win on Thursday.

Captains blow lead late, fall 4-3
The Captains held a 3-0 lead after the top of the seventh, but the TinCaps came back in the bottom of the seventh to grab the 4-3 victory. Lake County had runs from center fielder Logan Vick and designated hitter Richard Stock, in addition to a home run from right fielder Jorge Martinez. Stock is also on a 14-game hitting streak.

On-Deck with the Captains: 7/24/13 - 7/30/13
A string of losses punt a dent in the Lake County Captains’ week, but the team managed to pin a trio of close wins. The month of July resulted in a 12-14 record and it seemed the team couldn’t string wins together, with the exception of a six-game win streak the first week of the month. Captains routed in series finale by Great Lakes 9-0
The Captains were sunk by the Loons Monday night, 9-0. Despite four hits, Lake County could not capitalize on their men on base and earned no runs against the Loons.

Lake County pulls away from Loons on late homer
After three straight losses on their road trip, The Captains were able to rebound and grab a 5-4 victory from the Great Lakes Loons on Sunday. This victory was from the fourth game during The Captains eight game road trip.

Loons sink Captains 7-4
MIDLAND, MI- The Great Lakes Loons (22-13, 49-56) used a big six-run second inning on Saturday night to take a early 6-2 lead and hang on to defeat the Lake County Captains (16-18, 39-62) 7-4. The loss was the Captains third overall and tenth to the Loons this year.

Captains fall to South Bend, lose series
The South Bend Silver Hawks (20-14, 64-39) took a 6-4 lead with a three-run fourth inning and never looked back as they took out the Lake County Captains (16-17, 39-61) by a final score of 7-4 for the second-straight game. South Bend won two out of three games.

'Hawks Early Lead Holds up in 7-4 Victory
Rudy Flores hit a three run homerun off the scoreboard in right field to put the Silver Hawks (19-14) in front, and they never looked back in a 7-4 win over Lake County (16-16) on Thursday. In the first inning, Brandon Drury knocked in a run and scored on the homer and South Bend led 4-0. Three of the four runs were earned in the inning.

Sever leads Captains to 7-5 win
The Lake County Captains (16-15, 39-59) used four RBI by first baseman Joe Sever to take game one from the South Bend Silver Hawks (18-14, 62-39) by a final score of 7-5. Lake County snapped a four-game losing streak against the Silver Hawks.
