Damon DFA'd
Ezequiel Carrera recalled from AAA.
No surprise Damon gone, but a little shocked that it's Carrera over Fedroff.

Probably want speed at the top of the order. They have had a good display the last few days of speed on the bases.

Good. Now let's lose Lopez and bring Donald back or give Goedert his chance. And why is Kevin Slowey still on the 40-man?

Well another gamble that didn't pay off at least its finally over. Assuming when EZ plays he plays CF and Brantley slides over to LF. Good news for tribe fans that Damon won't be around anymore. Good luck catching on with another club Johnny, sorry it didnt work out for you here

So long Johnny D.. your time on the North Coast was appreciated....
Hello & welcome back Zeke the Streak.. Finally, the Indians call up a player who is in the MIDDLE of a hot streak.. Zeke has been on an incredible roll over the last month or so.. Here's hoping he continues his hot streak in the bright lights of De-Toilet !!!

The look on his face was hilarious, all that was missing was the girly scream.

Yeah if you're gonna cut Damon you really need to let Lopez go who has been worse (Damon's OPS was about 100 pts higher the last 2 months). Kotchman shouldn't feel too comfortable either (also outhit by Damon last two months). Could be seeing the last of Hafner too though with that much money can't see the Tribe flat out DFAing him. Even Hanny I think should be a little worried as he's hitting .188 with a .514 OPS since coming back in mid June. Probably safe for this year due to his glove and Chiz being hurt but could be non-tendered this fall if the Tribe decides he's not worth the $2M or so he could get. Could look for another Lopez or Everett type cheap backup or go with Donald and save a bit of money.
Slowey being hurt, may not want to deal with removing him. Don't have any 40-man issue right now either so not a big deal. Can't imagine him not being non-tendered this fall though. He's looking at around $3-3.5M in arby this winter.
