Watch it.

I've found my new favorite network show, The Event. Watched the pilot this afternoon since I missed it last night because I was taking in some kind of Captains championship....and all I have to say is color me very intrigued. I know some will hate some of the things with the parallels to both 911 and Lost with the plane....but as the promo has been saying "it's not what you think". Color me hooked and eager to see more. I'm hoping for a Lost-like show here where you just get little tidbits each week and finish each episode craving more info.

Chances are that by season 4 when the ratings drop they'll find themselves on an island fighting a gang of zombies polar bears....but I gotta admit, even that would be more entertaining than most movies that are made today
