Zach Jackson is Out of Options
By my calculations Zach Jackson is out of options.
He was optioned the first time on 7/18/06 after being added to the 40 man on 6/03/06 when he was called up to the ML.
He was optioned for the 2nd time on 3/24/07.
He had to be optioned down before the 2008 season, but I don't have the date. He was also optioned down on 5/27/08.
So that's 3.
Does anybody think he makes the 25 man roster out of ST?
BTW Tony, it looks like Meloan still has 2 options left. You have him as unknown on your list.

I always thought Zach was out of options coming into 2009. My guess is he is a legit long-man in the pen if he doesn't win a rotation spot in Spring Training.

I'll verify these. Jackson is out of options, but I have to verify Meloan. He certainly has at least one.
And, I expect Jackson to make the team as the long man.

I updated the list. Had forgot about it....thanks for the reminder. Jackson has no options, and Meloan has two still.
Also updated Sipp and Miller to show they still have three options since both are eligible and will get a special 4th option due to injuries last year.

Yeah thought we talked about Jackson being out of options. I hope the Tribe brings in another lefty via free agency, but Jackson as a long reliever would be nice as well. Maybe he develops into a Brian Tallet type.
