Adam Miller -injured again
Sore same finger he had surgery on last year.
Unbelievable.
Let's hope it is what they say it is, just getting used to pitching again...but it didn't effect him last winter.

I think everyone has had their fingers crossed regarding Adam Miller staying healthy.
This doesn't change anything related to that.

Re: Adam Miller -injured again
Since when has soreness been considered an injury?
I get that when it comes to guys like Wood/Miller that anything that crops up is a red flag....but I am not too concerned with this yet. He's pitching a lot after being off a few months, and I think it is expected that some soreness would result.
Something to monitor though.

Tony,
I usually think of anything that keeps a guy from playing, even in ST, as being an injury. And, c'mon, haven't we come to believe that we can't trust ANYTHING the Indians say about an injury and that they usually underreport it.

It's not being under-reported. It really is just general soreness.
Something to monitor for sure going forward, but I am not concerned (yet).

Over a 162 game season, even the toughest guys get bumps, bruises, sore arms, twisted ankles!

It's soreness in his surgically repaired finger. It's not general soreness. And we know that the Indians DO under-report.
Hey, don't be worried if you choose that path. Me, I am worried.

I was referencing the original movie.
The heart attack was in ML2.

Yep, injury! How serious and how lingering are the only questions.

Were you honestly expecting anything different?
I know I'm being pretty pessimistic here.....but maybe he should just go the Lonnie Lott route and have that finger amputated (sadly I'm only partially kidding here, lol)...

Assuming you mean Ronnie Lott. I think there is a huge difference between the tip of a finger (Lott Pinky IIRC) and most of a middle finger (Adam Miller).
