Robbie Alomar has full-blown AIDS?!?

According to a USA Today report, Robbie Alomar is being sued by a former ex-girlfriend for having unprotected sex while knowing he had HIV.....and states that he now has full-blown AIDS!

His lawyer is denying it and saying the charges are bogus.......but they're asking for $15M......you'd think they'd have to have something here.....


Sandy Alomar, Sr. says he doesn't know of his son's illness and but could just be trying to keep things private (which really it should be, unless the charges are true). Though his retirement and rapid donwturn seemed kinda premature and strange at the time......maybe there's no connection here......but raises some eyebrows.....

It was...they were engaged but called it off in 2001.....which coincidentally was his last good ML season......

I highly doubt she's just out for revenge.....though it's probably part of the issue. I can't imagine she'd sue unless she had something to actually hold against Alomar......and his retirement always baffled me....and the blood issue that's common with HIV doesn't look good for him.......


Do really hope he doesn't have it.....never a fan of Robbie the person (thought he was a dick), but never would wish AIDS on him.....

this alomar crap sounds like the same crap coming out of new york with the knicks eric curry. it all sounds like assholes looking to make a buck to me. she wouldnt be the first girl to make up lies about some athlete using her for sex.

This is a LOT differnt than the Curry situation. If what she's saying is true about Alomar (which I agree, still could be total BS), then he broke the law and could even face jail time. If you know you have HIV/AIDS and don't tell your partner, it's a felony (I believe).....

Again, I really hope this does turn out to be bogus.....but seems kinda fishy to me....from both sides....
