had there cubs chat today and according to them guab is now one of the top lefties in there system and not one of the specs they got was close to the cubs top ten. Stevens is a MR and the other two are too far away, was the reasoning. To give an idea the cubs minors are ranked 27th according to BA which makes me think BA would not have stevens in the Indians top 20

Didn't the Cubs lose Veal in the Rule V draft? They didn't have a ton of lefties before that I didn't think, so may explain why they targeted Gaub....
