just wanted to say thanks for those Tony I have found them very interesting especially in terms of looking back at the system, he seems very very intelligent on the tribe

yeah, sorta fun to go down memory lane with the old Q&A's him and I used to do.
He left BA around this time last year and is now an amateur scout for the Pirates.

You have to figure he and Neil understood each other pretty good for Chris to take this step.

Yes. What really helped is his contacts with Neal and others considering he did the Indians prospect list in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 if I recall correctly. He also did a ton of work going to the DR and taking scouting classes and all that stuff, and got picked up because of that. He used to dress for games with Akron and Kinston to go through the whole experience and all that.....cool stuff.
