signed today to a 2 year 17.5 mil year deal with the angels, so much for that 4 year 48 mil he wanted, I would rather had wood for the extra 3 mil

I think Mil would have pursued fuentes, but is afraid to lose there pick this year after not getting another first rounder for CC

Cruz is the only guy left who I have heard teams might look at as a closer but the issue again is the loss of picks

Yeah, Fuentes is a nice closer.....but was never worth what he wanted. He actually lost his job last year and wasn't the closer for the playoff run the Rox had last year. Didn't start this year as the closer either. A nice add by the Angels though, but I agree, I like Wood better even for a bit more money.
