Gomez as the answer to the long relief problem?
He can go about 3 or 4 good innings (Major League level) before beginning to struggle. Sounds like a textbook long reliever to me.

He could be an option, though I'd still like to see him get another shot at starting. Tomlin is a guy that I think could be headed to the pen eventually too.
