I think the Indians stay in it a bit longer than last year, but the pitching can't carry the offense enough to take the Central/2nd WC.

I see the Tribe getting out to a slow start but finishing strong (basically the opposite of last year) as Sizemore and Chiz are midseason call-ups and trades of C.Perez, Hannahan, and Kotchman at the deadline.

Re: 2012 MLB Predictions
AL East:
y New York Yankees
w Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Toronto Blue Jays
Boston Red Sox - a couple of injuries and a shaky SP rotation doom them by mid-June
Baltimore Orioles
AL Central:
y Detroit Tigers - poised to have the best W/L record in all of the ML this year. Could be derailed by some key injuries but they easily look like an awesome offensive machine.
Cleveland Indians (77-85) at the low end and (89-73) at the high end - so lets say 84-78. Tough one for me, the indians could easily have a bad year this year, if things fail to come together. However if things go their way and get off to a hot start could make a run for the WC but still tail-off and are out of it by the end. Miss WC by 2-10 games.
Kansas City Royals
Chicago White Sox
Minnesota Twins
AL West:
y LA Angels
w Texas Rangers
Seattle Mariners
Oakland A's
NL East: This will be the most contested division this year. Around 5 games will seperate the top 4 teams, with the nationals fading late.
y Philadelphia Phillies
w Atlanta Braves
Washington Nationals
Miami Marlins
New York Mets
NL Central:
y Cincinatti Reds
w Milwaukee Brewers
St. Louis Cardinal
Chicago Cubs
Pittsburgh Pirates
Houston Astros
NL West
y Arizona Diamondbacks
Colorado Rockies
San Francisco Giants
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres

NLDS: Braves over Cincinatti (3-1)
NLDS: Philly over Diamondbacks (3-2)
NLCS: Braves over Phillies (4-2)
World Series: Tigers over Braves (4-3)
Awards
AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera
AL Cy Young: JUSTIN VERLANDER
AL ROTY: Yu Darvish
AL Comback: tough one - Adam Dunn, maybe Crawford.
AL MOTY: Jim Leyland
AL Breakout player: Jason Kipnis!
NL MVP: Joey Votto
NL Cy Young: Kershaw or Kennedy
NL ROTY: Drew Pomeranz
NL Comeback: Jason Heyward
NL MOTY: Fredi Gonzalez
NL Breakout player: Freddie Freeman
Alll guesses here - with a bit of bias...... GO TRIBE in 2012!!!!

Re: 2012 MLB Predictions
I think the Yankees, Rays, Tigers, Angels and Rangers make the playoff in the AL, and the Phillies, Marlins, Reds, Diamondbacks and Giants make it for the NL.
I think that the Angels will beat the Phillies in the World Series. The AL MVP will be Pujols and the Cy Young winner will be Verlander, while in the NL the MVP will be Votto and the Cy Young winner will be Matt Cain.
As far as the Tribe, I'll go with a record of 78-84, with a third place finish behind the Tigers and Royals, but ahead of the Twins and White Sox.
