Urban Meyer agrees to be the Ohio State HC?

A Florida TV network is saying that Meyer has agreed to a 7yr/$40M deal to be the Buckeyes head coach, and the Columbus Dispatch is also saying he's agreed to become the head coach.....shortly after Meyer denied it. Still, seems likely he will be the coach. Reports say Fickell will stick around as assistant head coach too. Thoughts?

Being reported everywhere but by Urban's own mouth. Right now it's a very strong rumor. If this does happen, I'll be pretty excited. Despite this year's struggles, the cupboard is not bare (except for Offensive coaching) and in short order tOSU should be back at the top of the B1G Ten.

I loved JT as head coach but I certainly am ready to see a new offensive philosophy. I hoped Fickell would have done well with the team and kept the job but this year has been a struggle in a huge way. It's time for a change.
