2010 Minor League Champions

Postby Upper Box Woodchuck » Thu Sep 09, 2010 2:49 pm

Not really Tribe system related (at least not yet, anyway), here's a list of the Minor League champions (affiliated only) for 2010. I'm starting this list as three leagues have already crowned champions). Leagues still in the playoffs will have the current round (wild card, division, championship) listed.

AAA National Champions - tomorrow
International League - Columbus Clippers (Cleveland Indians)
Pacific Coast League - Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners)
Eastern League - Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates)
Southern League - Jacksonville Suns (Florida Marlins)
Texas League - Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Kansas City Royals)
California League - League Championship Series
Carolina League - Potomac Nationals (Washington Nationals)
Florida State League - Tampa Yankees (New York Yankees)
Midwest League - League Championship Series
South Atlantic League - Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies)
New York-Penn League - Tri-City Valley Cats (Houston Astros)
Northwest League - Everett Aquasox (Seattle Mariners)
Appalachian League - Johnson City Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals)
Pioneer League - Helena Brewers (Milwaukee Brewers)
Arizona League - Arizona League Brewers (Milwaukee Brewers)
Gulf Coast League - Gulf Coast League Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies)

Helena Brewers added as Pioneer League champs.

The short-season season is over, by the way, but all full-season leagues, except the FSL, are still going.

Also, Brewers are the first team to snag two titles.
