According to a tweet from the PD's Paul Hoynes...OF Nick Weglarz has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to AA Akron Aeros. It'd be great if Nick can get back on track.

the ship has sailed on nick weglarz. (just like too many that come through the indians farm system). a guy with potential -who was always "young" for his league early in his career and people said just wait until he matures.

Weglarz is the latest example of many that were supposed to be one of the core players for the indians. Weglarz is done.
