According to Baseball America, RHP Brian Slocum has been signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

ha, we took one from Neal this year (Bullington)....he's just returning the favor.


Not sure how this can be considered a 'good' thing though. Not really bad, but Slocum still would have been a nice guy to have in the Columbus bullpen.

yeah but why should he stay here when he has zero chance of making the team, smart move by slocum

With the amount of talented relievers in Columbus, I'm not sure he would have made it there either.
