Columbu Clippers relinquish early lead, lose 3-2 to Gwinnett
After leading early in the game, the Columbus Clippers lost 3-2 to the Gwinnett Braves Wednesday. Columbus scored both its runs in the bottom of the first inning before allowing one in the fourth and the deciding runs in the eighth. The Clippers' third and forth batters – Nyjer Morgan and Jesus Aguilar – both went 0-4 in the game.

Sailing with the Clippers: 4/16/2014 - 4/22/2014
It has been a rocky start to the season to say the least for the Columbus Clippers. At 7-10 the Clippers just recently rose above Toledo in the International League West standings to get out of last place. Fishing for Mudcats: 4/16/14 - 4/22/14
This past week, the Carolina Mudcats have played a lot of baseball competing in two doubleheaders and an extra inning game. The Mudcats were able to win four out of seven games, sweeping the Salem Red Sox in a doubleheader last Wednesday and taking two out of four against the Frederick Keys. Second Thoughts Game #20: Royals 8, Indians 2
The Indians had another poor showing from a starting pitcher and also made some key mistakes defensively which cost them on Tuesday night in an 8-2 loss to the Royals. Captains fall 6-1 to Lugnuts, drop fourth straight
The Lansing Lugnuts (6-11) jumped ahead early in the game and rode a spectacular pitching performance by Jeremy Gabryszwski in a 6-1 win over the Lake County Captains (5-13) on Tuesday night. The Captains have dropped four straight and have lost nine of their last ten games.

RubberDucks blow late lead, lose 4-3 to Thunder
With momentum on their side heading into a four-game set with the Trenton Thunder, the Akron RubberDucks were looking to stay hot and gain some ground in the Western Division of the Eastern League. Following back-to-back nights in which the pitching staff blew leads, the momentum has officially faded and the RubberDucks have dropped the first two games of the series. On Tuesday, Akron held a lead through seven innings, but the Thunder put up three runs in the bottom half of the lead to secure a 4-3 victory.

Clippers blowout Braves 11-1, snap seven-game streak
The Columbus Clippers (7-10) got contributions from everybody in their 11-1 win over the visiting Gwinnett Braves (11-7) on Tuesday night. The Clippers dominated in all phases and snapped the Braves seven-game win streak.

Salazar's struggles continue, Indians fall to Royals, 8-2

IBI on Site 1.01
Today we unveil a new exciting project here at the IBI. We are producing a new weekly TV show on the web called "IBI on Site" that will be hosted by Hayden Grove and have several guests on the show. The IBI's Tony Lastoria will be on the show regularly and it will also feature on-air interviews with players and coaches at different affiliates in the Indians organization.

Second Thoughts Game #19: Royals 3, Indians 4
After finally coming through with a big hit and a victory against the Blue Jays on Easter Sunday, the Indians welcomed the Royals to town for four contests. They quite literally tried to throw the game away time and time again, but slugged the ball well enough to overcome that, winning 4-3. Any game can get a little nutty. The Indians (9-10) used the long ball and a bushy-tailed friend to push past division rival Kansas City Royals Monday, holding onto a 4-3 victory. Akron RubberDucks Open Series at Trenton with 5-2 Loss
Four Trenton pitchers combined on a three-hitter against the Akron RubberDucks Monday night, as the Thunder claimed a 5-2 victory in the opening game of a four-game series at Arm and Hammer Park. Lefty Jeremy Bleich (2-2), whom the RubberDucks beat last Wednesday at Canal Park, earned the win, tossing 5 1/3 innings, and allowing just a pair of singles and two unearned runs. Bleich walked two and struck out four. He retired the side in order three times.

Clippers top Mud Hens behind two Jose Ramirez home runs
Jose Ramirez blasted two home runs as the Columbus Clippers beat the Toledo Mud Hens 6-4 Monday night. While Columbus still sits at the bottom of the division, the win snapped a three-game losing streak. Overall the Clippers are off to a slow start, but continued offensive outings like that of Ramirez should improve their fortunes.

Lake County Captains lose tight one to Lansing Lugnuts, 7-6
After going up early, the Lake County Captains lost to the Lansing Lugnuts Monday, 7-6. A run in the top of the first inning led to a short-lived advantage, but Lansing tied it up in the bottom half. Erac Haase homered and scored three runs, but it wasn't enough for the Captains to come out on top.
