Johnson aims to keep improving
Cleveland Indians right-handed relief prospect had a very good season in 2013 across two different levels and reaching Double-A Akron. He has emerged as one of the Indians better relief prospects and has an interesting arsenal. The IBI's Tony Lastoria recently sat down with him and discussed the strides he made in 2013 and where he looks to improve going into 2014.

Swinging for the Fences: Looking at the lefties
Many Cleveland faithful would prefer to forget the name Rich Hill sooner rather than later. However, as tough as he was to watch on the mound at times this season, he was only a symptom of an ongoing issue for the Indians in 2013. After the departures of left-handed relief mainstays Tony Sipp and Rafael Perez, the process of bringing in and testing new southpaw recruits proved to be more difficult than the team probably had envisioned. The IBI's Jake Dungan looks at the lefty options for the Tribe in 2014

Around the Farm: November 18, 2013
It was a very quiet evening on Monday night as only four games took place in the three Caribbean leagues, and of those four games just one Indians player was in action. Never fear as the IBI's Michael Hattery is here to review the performance of that one player, a performance that the player would no doubt like to forget.

He's been criticized throughout his minor league career, but could he now be taking that next step as a prospect. Should Ryan Raburn play every day?
At this very moment last winter, Ryan Raburn was unemployed. Ending 2012 with a .171 batting average, he was cut from Detroit after playing just 66 games with the Tigers. One year later, he's revived his baseball career once again, this time some 170 miles south of Motown as a member of the Indians. IBI Tribe beat reporter Jim Berdysz wonders if Raburn should play every day in 2014.

Around The Farm: November 15, 2013
It's beginning to look like the slump Jesus Aguilar is currently mired in is not temporary as fatigue appears to be setting in. Him and AA teammate Carlos Moncrief each posted 0-for-4 performances. Meanwhile, Bryan Price and Tribe newcomer Colt Hynes each kept their scoreless streaks alive with shutout performances. The IBI's Arthur Kinney recaps all that and more as he goes Around the Farm.
