Around The Farm: August 2, 2013
Some guy named Danny Salazar was brilliant again Friday night for Triple-A Columbus. He pitched five no-hit innings with eight strikeouts and was an error away from being perfect in his outing before being removed. The IBI's Arthur Kinney shares his great outing as well as several other good (and bad) outings around the farm on Friday night.

Orbiting Cleveland: Did the Tribe do right at the deadline?
The MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone, and it ended up being a quiet trade season for the Indians as the team only acquired left-hander Marc Rzepczynski. Some fans had been clamoring for other moves, but Tribe General Manager Chris Antonetti ultimately decided to make the safe move, which could be better for the long haul. Join the IBI's Steve Orbanek as he discusses the Indians' approach at the deadline in this week's edition of Orbiting Cleveland.

The Indians won their eighth game in a row on Thursday afternoon and swept the White Sox out of town in the process with a convincing 6-1 win. The IBI's Michael Hattery looks at Masterson's emergence and also looks at the dynamic catching duo of Carlos Santana and Yan Gomes.

Around The Farm: August 1, 2013
So often, the difference between a prospect developing into a major leaguer or busting out in the minors is health. Some players are just unlucky with their bodies and see their careers end while others manage to stay on the field and make something happen. Bryson Myles is turning heads now that he is healthy and he continued to do so Thursday night. To read about Myles and everything else you need to know about the minor leagues, join Jim Piascik and go Around The Farm.

Crushers take advantage of errors, win 5-0
The way the wind was blowing out of All Pro Freight Stadium before the game, the expectation was that a lot of balls would be sailing off the bat. Instead, they were sailing out of the hand of WildThings third baseman Chris Costantino. The two-base error brought home the first run of a circus-like third inning. The Crushers (35-30) added two more runs and went on to shutout the WildThings (30-35) 5-0.
