Rein leads crushers in 5-1 win
The Crushers ordered the Matt Rein special on Thursday night. At least, that's what it would be called if it were a menu item, and the Crushers could theoretically order results of games as if they were menu options. Rein pitched seven innings and earned the win as the Crushers (40-31) took the rubber match by beating the Freedom (39-32) 5-1.

Early Run Proves Costly, Aeros Lose 1-0
The New Britain Rock Cats scored once, but it was all that was needed for the victory as they defeated the Akron Aeros 1-0 in a pitcher's duel on Thursday night at Canal Park. Neither lineup could rally as the starting pitchers Will Roberts and Kyle Davies were dominant, only allowing 1 run and 7 hits between the two of them.

The Rock of Cleveland - Remembering Rocky Colavito
Cleveland is proud to be home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But there is another Rock that is revered by many lifelong Cleveland Indians fans. The IBI's DJ Sebastian reminisces about Colavito and why he had such a big impact on fans during his time in baseball.

Second Thoughts Game #114: Tigers 6, Indians 5
After dropping two straight deflating games to the Tigers, the Indians turned to Danny Salazar to try to get some of their mojo back. The kid took the hill and was sensational in his second career start punching out 10 Tiger hitters and going 7.2 innings before making a big mistake to Miguel Cabrera. Prince Fielder later did the Tribe in and they are now 0-3 in this series, and the IBI's Michael Goodman shares his second thoughts...

The Inside Pitch 2.15: Time to hit the Panic Button?
During this week's special afternoon edition, Andrew and Jeff will discuss whether now is the time to hit the panic button with the Cleveland Indians. Can they still contend? Why is Asdrubal Cabrera still hitting cleanup? Does Terry Francona leave his pitchers in too long? They'll also talk some NFL football. Is it worth watching pre-season games? Should there be any reason to be concerned about Trent Richardson? What should we expect from the Cleveland Browns this season? All that and more on this week's edition of The Inside Pitch!
