Tribe Happenings: Team Streak has returned
The Indians this season have been extremely streaky and been a rollercoaster ride all season, and Tony says they remind him of another Indians team from the past 10 years. Second Thoughts Game #73: Indians 8, Twins 7

The win increases Cleveland’s win streak to four straight now having won their last four series. Offensively, Cleveland hitters would walk a total of eight times, where six of them would come in the first inning against Twins starter P.J. Walters (2-3, 4.88 ERA).

Big ninth inning comeback caps off AZL Indians 4-3 win
Up and down throughout the entire Cleveland Indians organization on Saturday night, teams exhibited a certain flair for the dramatics, as four teams each won their respective games by one run. In the scorching 106° desert heat, the AZL Indians turned in, possibly, the most entertaining performance of the night, as they rode strong pitching and clutch hitting to a walk-off win over the AZL Dodgers 4-3.

With revenge on their minds, the AZL Dodgers rode clutch hitting and strong relief pitching to a 4-1 victory over the AZL Indians Sunday night at Camelback Ranch. A relatively slow start hitting-wise for both teams, the Dodgers overcame a few defensive and pitching miscues in the early stages of the game, and managed to shut the Tribe down when it mattered most.

Lowery rebounding from tough 2012, showing promise in Akron
One could be forgiven for selling their Jake Lowery stock after 2012. The catcher was presented with a challenging assignment and simply could not manage it, ending the year with a demotion and plenty of questions. So far in 2013, though, Lowery has shown that last year was a fluke. Given another aggressive promotion due to injuries, Lowery filled in admirably and bounced back in a strong way. He recently talked to Jim Piascik about what Double-A is like, his approach at the plate and behind it, and much more.

Trend Spotting: Michael Brantley's value conflict
One of the many ideas emphasized throughout the Indians offseason was that the front office truly believed that it had developed a core group of players that they could build around in order to compete for division titles.
