Around the Farm: June 5th, 2012
Lake County dominated tonight's ATF with some pretty incredible performances over their 13-inning marathon. Jordan Smith took his frustrations out on not being picked for the All-Star team with another outstanding night. Carlos Santana brought his "smooth" swing to Low A for a one-night-only performance. Tonight's top slot was dominance-out-of-nowhere for a Captains reliever. Jim Pete brings his draft-night bravado to tonight's ATF.

Hankins delivers walkoff win, 4-3
The draw on Monday night at Lake County was Indians catcher Carlos Santana, who was making a rehab start with the Captains. Santana is coming off the new 7-day concussion disabled list. However, the fans who stuck around after Santana left the game saw a great minor league baseball game. Lake County (28-29) needed thirteen innings, but won Monday night’s rubber match with Fort Wayne (27-31) in walk off fashion.

2012 Indians 1st Round Pick: OF Tyler Naquin
The Indians selected Texas A&M outfielder Tyler Naquin in the 1st round, 15th overall, of the 2012 MLB Draft. The pick came as somewhat of a surprise as the Indians were supposedly on a college arm and Naquin was not a Top 20 ranked guy by just about every draft source. The IPI staff chimes in on the pick...
