Chen plays hero, Aeros win 7th straight
The Eastern League leading Akron Aeros extended their winning streak to seven games with a 6-5 victory over the Binghamton Mets on Tuesday night. Akron starting pitcher lefty T.J. He had a rocky start hitting the first batter of the game and allowing the Mets to quickly jump out front putting two runs on the board in the first and second innings.

Smoke Signals 5/1: Heeeerrrrrre’s Johnny Edition
Like Jack Torrance once said, "Heeeerrreee's Johnny!". This Johnny happens to be Johnny Damon, the new LF for the Indians, and not the father gone mad in "The Shining". Johnny makes his Indians' debut tonight and Jim and Tony will talk about it along with the Matt LaPorta insanity, the Indians in first place and lots more.

Around the Farm: April 30, 2012
The Indians organization only had two complete games last night, thanks to some rain and fog. Don't worry, one Matt LaPorta didn't let the weather stop him from dominating ATF once again. With Damon making his Tribe debut tonight, can LaPorta be that far behind? Check out last night's abbreviated minor league performances with the latest edition of ATF.

All Smiles in the 'Land
Even with all of the struggles offensively, the Indians find themselves in first place at the start of May. There is still a long way to go, but Adam McGavin says the feelings should be positive with how the pitching staff as a whole is performing. The pitching will have to continue to carry the Indians this season until the offense gets it in gear, gets a little more healthy, and potentially the Indians can add a piece or two around the trade deadline.
