The first six days of the week had some stuff to talk about: The release of Hector Ambriz, Francisco Rodriguez's spot start in Akron, and the start of the short season and A-ball team's second half.
But transaction wire this week was really about one thing and one thing only: the transactionpalooza that was Friday. 25 line items. 14 moves. Beau Mills in the Reds system. Copeland released. Tice and Sturdevant in Akron. Cole Cook and Grant Sides in suburban Raleigh. Circus music-worthy zaniness and bits of carbon fiber everywhere! (Oh, wait. That's what happens when IndyCar mistakes a downtown street grid for a road course. Nevermind. I got carried away there.)
