Another week of transactions is behind us (only two weeks left until playoffs!) and the pace of roster movement has not slowed down at all. Notable call-ups include Cole Cook getting the call to AA, Dorssys Paulino making the transition to playing in front of fans (okay, there's technically a few people attending the AZL games, but...), and Matt LaPorta getting yet another crack (his last?) at the big leagues. In other transaction wire news, an injury to Akron C Roberto Perez triggers yet round of human pinball for Patric Tolentino and the annual migration of players from eliminated (or near eliminated) teams to those with a shot at the playoffs began with Anthony Gallas receiving a two-level promotion from the Carolina Mudcats to the Columbus Clippers.
