  • Just when baseball fans thought Tim Lincecum had turned into an average major league pitcher, he proved everybody wrong once again. Lincecum threw his second no-no today against the San Diego Padres. He becomes the second pitcher in San Francisco Giants history to throw two of them since Christy Matthewson in 1901 and 1905 against the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. Ironically, the former Cy Young no-hit the Padres last year. It is safe to say he has their number. He only threw 113 pitches to complete the feat as his fastball was unhittable. Fact: The Cleveland Indians drafted Tim Lincecum in the 43rd round in 2005. However he decided to stay at the University of Washington for his junior year.

Pleasantly surprised Outman cleared wavers. Figured he would be traded or claimed. I'd be surprised if we don't see him back by September at the latest.

Would not mind seeing Benoit or Street added to Indians bullpen. Kennedy to starting rotation?
