  • The Brewers and Aramis Ramirez have a $14 million mutual option for 2015and Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel believes Ramirez and his agent could leverage a weak crop of free agent third basemen and seek a second year or a vesting option in return for exercising the player's half of the mutual option.
  • Haudricourt also thinks the Brewers will tender a contract to recently acquired outfielder Gerardo Parra, who will be eligible for arbitration for the last time following this season.
  • White Sox manager Robin Ventura told reporters that the club could promote this year's 3rd overall pick Carlos Rodon when rosters expand in September. Rodon was recently promoted to Triple-A.

How the heck is Gibson on the hot seat? He was personally picked by Towers to intentionally hit the other team's players in retaliation and he has done an awesome job at it!
