Smoke Signals 7/17: Trade talk edition
July 17, 2012
Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves today at a special time 10:00am – 11:00am EST. The one hour show is hosted by Tony Lastoria and Jim Pete and airs every Tuesday.
Today we will discuss some of the events from the Indians current 7-game road trip through Toronto and Tampa Bay, but most of our attention will be spent discussing the upcoming July non-waiver trade deadline which is now two weeks away. We will discuss if the Indians will be buyers or sellers, what kind of trade chips the Indians have, if they should consider dealing Francisco Lindor, what needs have the highest priority, and more. We will also mix in some discussion late in the show about the minor leagues and discuss Giovanni Soto’s no-hitter, the first impressions of Dorsyss Paulino, and more.
For those that are subscribed to the Smoke Signals feed through iTunes, you will also now be getting a new show included in that feed. Every Sunday “The Inside Pitch” runs for a half hour from 7:00-7:30PM EST and is hosted by IPI site contributors Jeff Ellis and Andrew Zajac. The show will have a strong focus on fantasy baseball, but will also cover other topics surrounding MLB and the Indians from time to time.
Feel free to call us at 1-347-202-0338 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about anything on your mind. Thanks again for listening!
