Smoke Signals 4/17: Thank God for the Royals edition
April 17, 2012
Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves tonight from 10:00 – 11:00PM EST. The one hour show is hosted by Tony Lastoria and Jim Pete and airs every Tuesday night at this time.
With Smoke Signals back to its normal one hour format it allows us much more time to talk about several topics surrounding the team, talk about the recently completed game that night, and have guests on quite regularly. In fact, starting next week the hope is to start having guests come on quite regularly.
On tonight’s show Jim and I will recap a week that was much easier on the eyes as the Indians put up a lot of runs in the last four games and seem to be clicking much better as an offensive unit. We will discuss the signing of outfielder Johnny Damon and what that means for the Indians, how they get him into the lineup, and when he may make his debut. We will also touch on the encouraging start to the season for Derek Lowe, and also talk about if it is time to start worrying about Tony Sipp and Josh Tomlin. We will also run down the results to date at all four minor league affiliates and discuss some players at each level.
For those that are subscribed to the Smoke Signals feed through iTunes, you will also now be getting a new show included in that feed. Every Sunday “The Inside Pitch” runs for a half hour from 7:00-7:30PM EST and is hosted by IPI site contributors Jeff Ellis and Andrew Zajac. The show will have a strong focus on fantasy baseball, but will also cover other topics surrounding MLB and the Indians from time to time.
Feel free to call us at 1-347-202-0338 or email us at email@example.com to talk about anything on your mind. Thanks again for listening!
