Site News: 2013 prospect book update

I just wanted to provide a very quick update on the status of the new 2013 Cleveland Indians prospect book. The book is all written and I am in the process of putting it all together before sending it to press. If all goes well over the next 24 hours, I should have it off to press sometime on Tuesday.....maybe even late tonight.

As to when the book will actually be available, that depends on how quickly it goes through the process through the publisher and I get a proof I am satisfied with. I'm hoping by the end of the week or beginning of next week.

I have been getting lots of questions on the availability of the book, so I appreciate the patience on it this year as it is about two weeks behind. It should be well worth it in the end as it is the biggest version yet as it will now span several more pages, has detailed scouting reports for over 200 players (almost 20 more than last year), and the Top International prospect listing has increased from 15 to 20. Also, the tool grades in the book for each player has been adjusted and now will have a present and future numerical value.

Hopefully the next update later in the week will be to let everyone know that it is available! Thanks for the continued support and interest in this big annual project.
