Minor league camp officially opens today. While a few players are in big league camp and some are down for early minor league camp, today is the reporting date for all minor league pitchers and catchers. Here is a listing of the important dates in minor league camp this spring:
March 5th: Pitchers and catchers report
March 6th: Physicals for pitchers and catchers
March 7th: First workout for pitchers and catchers
March 7th: Position players report
March 8th: Physicals for position players
March 9th: First full workout
March 18th: First spring games
April 4th: Camp ends
