Minor League Spring Game Recap: 3/19
Today was a camp day, so the minor leaguers were broken up into six groups where three intrasquad seven-inning games were played. Columbus played Akron, Kinston played Lake County, and Mahoning Valley scrimmaged itself.
You'll notice some Indians big leaguers like Carmona, Perez, Hafner, Shoppach and others played in the Columbus/Akron game, and one item of note to come from that game is Carmona was awesome, but had to leave the game early when a comebacker struck him in the hand. X-rays were negative and he is day to day and supposed to be okay.
