Minor League Spring Game Recap: 3/18

The first spring games of minor league camp are officially in the books. Triple-A Columbus and Double-A Akron were on the road in Surprise at the Texas Rangers facility, and both won. Single-A Kinston and Lake County were both in Goodyear, with Kinston losing and Lake County winning. One note, Akron's hitting stats are missing, but the hitting stats for the other three games are provided.

Highlights of the day at the plate include Lucas Montero (2-5, HR, RBI), Jared Goedert (4-5, 2 2B, 3 RBI), Chris Nash (2-3, 2 2B, BB), John Allman (2-2, 2B), Tim Palincsar (3-5, RBI), and Kevin Fontanez (2-2, 3 RBI).
