Today is the official start of the second half of the minor league season, even though we are over three months into the season and have less than two months remaining. This is the time when a lot of prospects make their mark and either have a strong finish that propels them into the offseason and exiting start to the next season, or they fizzle and go into the offseason with lots of question marks and unknowns going into the next season.
